Peter Fisher

Peter’s research primarily involves the use of personality assessments in personnel selection as a means of reducing discrimination as a result of biases inherent in many other forms of selection. With a background in both computer science (University of Waterloo) and business (Laurier), Peter is particularly interested in the selection practices of high-tech startups, and how to increase the representation of women at these firms, as well as new developments in the field of human resources management as a result of recent advances in technology and the widespread use of the Internet.
