Global Scholar Caroline Wiertz to arrive in June 2025 as Lazaridis Distinguished Visiting Professor

The Lazaridis Institute is delighted to welcome Professor Caroline Wiertz from the City University of London. She will visit the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics for three weeks starting June 6, 2025 as the Lazaridis Distinguished Visiting Professor of Technology Enterprises Management.

This visit has been recommended by the Lazaridis Institute's Research Committee and endorsed by the Marketing Area of the Lazaridis School, reflecting the alignment of Professor Wiertz's expertise with the Institute's strategic focus on advancing research in managing technological enterprises.

During her visit, Professor Wiertz will engage in collaborative research with faculty members, focusing on topics of mutual interest in the Marketing Area. She will also contribute to the academic community through informal lectures and meaningful interactions with graduate students, enriching their learning and research experiences. Her presence will foster scholarly collaboration, inspire innovative research, and strengthen our international academic partnerships.

Lazaridis Institute Hosts Professor George S. Day for Public Lecture on Innovation Leadership

On December 13, 2024, the Lazaridis Institute at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics hosted Professor George S. Day for a public lecture. The event, entitled, “The Innovation Disciplines of Organic Growth Leaders,” was attended by over 40 professionals and academics.
