PhD student gets funding from the prestigious Marketing Science Institute

The Marketing Science Institute (MSI) recently announced the 15 winners of the 2018-2020 Research Priorities Research Grant Competition. Launched in 2018 to seed research pertaining to MSI’s research priorities, the competition drew 74 submissions from leading researchers.

Claudia Iglesias, together with Grant Packard (Schulich School of Business, York University) will be funded for their research entitled: "How Texting vs. Talking Shapes Consumer Attitudes Towards AI and Humans". This is part of Claudia’s PhD (Marketing) research, also supervised by Ammara Mahmood and Zhenfeng Ma.

Other award winners are located in the US, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands and the UK. Claudia and Grant are the only Canadians to receive this funding.
