2018 Best Paper Award for the Organization Development and Change Division at Academy of Management

This year’s winner of the annual Best Paper Award for the Organization Development and Change Division (ODC) is:

  • Rouven Kanitz (Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München) for his paper: Occasions for sensemaking and responses to change: A quasi-field experiment

The award is given annually by the ODC, sponsored by the Lazaridis Institute for Management of Technology Enterprises at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. Submissions are assessed by the ODC through a panel of judges according to the rules and practices of the ODC. The winner presents their research in a profiled session at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting.

This year’s event was held in Boston, and the 1500 USD prize was presented by Ivona Hideg from the Lazaridis Institute.

We are especially pleased to note that this year’s winner is a doctoral student and last year, Rouven received a Best Reviewer Award from the ODC Division. Congratulations Rouven!
