Lazaridis Institute welcomes Dr. Christian Schwens
The Lazaridis Institute is thrilled to announce our new Visiting Research Chair Professor Dr. Christian Schwens. He will be chair for three months, starting in April 2023.
Dr. Christian Schwens is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Management at the University of Cologne. He studied business administration at the University of Paderborn and the University of Stockholm, and worked as a doctoral student and postdoctoral fellow at the Justus Liebig University in Gießen. He was a deputy chair at the University of Trier. He was the chair for business administration at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf from 2012-2018.
Dr. Schwens took research stays at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in 2006 and to the Department of Management and International Business at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2016.
His research work has been presented at numerous national and international congresses and in peer-reviewed international journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS), Journal of Management Studies (JMS), Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice (ETP), Journal of World Business (JWB), International Business Review (IBR), Journal of Small Business Management (JSBM) and many more. He is Senior Editor at the Journal of World Business and serves on the Editorial Review Boards of the Journal of International Business Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and Management Review Quarterly.
